Dear Editor,
I read with interest an editorial of November 9, 2025, titled “Farnum Ground” in one of the daily national newspapers. In response to the concerning situation that was outlined in the editorial, I wish to respectfully propose a course of action.
Given the circumstances surrounding the occupation of Farnum Ground by a private enterprise—which appear to be marked by a lack of transparency—would it not be prudent for Ms. Jamela Ali to employ her legal expertise? An application to the High Court for an injunction, seeking the immediate cessation of this occupation, seems a viable and decisive legal avenue to pursue.
This approach would provide a judicial assessment of the matter and ensure the status quo is maintained until the issues of process and legality are thoroughly examined.
