Dear Editor,
A peace prize by any name is not the same coveted peace prize, but is good and accepted, in the same year that the original peace prize was denied.
A peace prize is not a football to be kicked around.
Just what was the basis for the football governing body to implement this prize, if not an ego boosting gimmick for one of the host countries? Shouldn’t the leaders of the other host countries be so awarded too?
Has the football body misplaced its purpose?
