Straight off, the second term has been very inglorious so far. A cursory look around at what is happening tells a pathetic state of affairs which offends.
These include the now-you-see-now-you-don’t Speaker who jaunts off on sojourns to avoid accountability; address to another country’s parliament while your own Parliament remains in a state of darkness and locked down projects rushed to be completed for campaigning now come back to haunt with many defects and deficiencies surfacing. Now additional sums must be found to fix and correct issues
How it is without a budget cash grant to the fisherfolk could have been done? Are we spending before budget approval? This is past mid-January and Budget 2026 does not even appear on the horizon. Now private sector is being consulted; suddenly cash grants are no longer ‘sustainable’, but were on the campaign trail. Oh, what a tangled web…
