Dear Editor,
APNU Members of Parliament, Dr Terrence Campbell and Saiku Andrews did an excellent job in Parliament this past week. As first timers, they delivered in the House in an expert, impressive and very effective manner.
Their speeches, posture and delivery were nothing less than captivating; it was as if they were versed in presenting in that Assembly for over a long period.
Their intentions were to passionately and eloquently drive home to the people of Guyana that government’s corruption and incompetence would not only be exposed but will also not be tolerated and that was achieved.
The power of their presentations reverberated through the Parliament and on the screens of smart electronic devices in Guyana and across the diaspora.
Saiku was clear, concise and refreshingly articulate with a style that cannot be easily imitated.
Dr Campbell’s oratory skills were effortlessly on display and the conviction in his words matched his eloquence. His body language conveyed a man that meant business. He did not need his notes because it appeared they were written the pages of his mind and they flowed powerfully like the majestic fountain of Kaieteur Falls.
Two politicians with different styles but powerfully and equally strong in driving home their points and positions.
It would be remiss of me not to mention another APNU Member of Parliament who was beyond excellent. Sherod Duncan was simply extraordinary.
