Dear Editor,
Many people have paid tribute to Stabroek News and its importance to Guyana. I hoped to write a sensible letter about the importance of Stabroek News to me as a space which gave me a platform to express myself, to share opinions, alone and with others which the Editors have thought important to Guyana.
But I wrote a rambling blog instead at https://churchroadman.blogspot.com/2026/02/learning-to-write-with-stabroek-news.html[1], the blog I created for things which I think would be published in newspapers. But members of the Stabroek News team have found some of those things important. I am grateful to all of you. Thank you Stabroek News for teaching and encouraging me, and others, to write.
