It is hard to understand why Guyana’s supreme executive authority President Ali has not instructed Region 10 Regional Executive Officer to carry out his legal duty and immediately complete the long overdue selection of the region’s Chair and Deputy Chair. Without hesitation, President Ali appeared wholehearted in dealing with the questions around Minis-ter Rodrigues’ suspicious asset accumulation. Do the people of Region 10 not deserve to have their area managed by their chosen officials without any further delay? Presidential treatment should not be discriminatory. Is President Ali’s One Guyana losing its shine?
