Jags Aviation and is parent company BK Group of Companies under the direction of its Founder and Executive Chairman Mr. Brian Tiwarie, A.A., OMC have over the years taken a very keen and important interest in prioritising youth sports developing youth sports teams in the country, be it soccer/football, cricket, volleyball etc. The company has invested heavily in several sports teams, the latest being the BK Raiders football team from the Campbelltown community at Madhia in Region Eight. Comprised of some twenty-three well trained, disciplined talented young players, ranging from age twelve to 17 years old, BK Raiders frequently competes in regional and national sports activities specifically designed to showcase talent in sports from Guyana’s remote hinterland regions and indigenous communities.
At the commissioning of the two new HAL 228 aircraft at Ogle on Saturday 20th June, 2026, Braadley Tiwarie, accompanied by his mother at the podium made a brilliant speech that captivated the audience, which was very silent as they listened attentively to him. In his opening remarks, Bradley greeted members of the audience and thanked them especially His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali, Prime Minister Brigadier (retd) Mark Phillips, members of the cabinet, and other notables for their support and warm embrace of the players in the team. The proud son of the Managing Director of Jags Aviation Briony Tiwarie-Gabriel and the eldest grandson of Brian and Gloria Tiwarie introduced the BK Raiders at the Bradley Hangar at Ogle, named after him, and then praised his grand-father, Brian Tiwarie aka BK and Jags Aviation for investing in youth sports, particularly the players of BK Raiders. The young Tiwarie, remarked that BK Raiders football team is a strong, powerful, gifted and a highly competitive soccer team that is capable to compete with some of the best soccer teams in the country and beyond.
An outstanding student at Georgetown International Academy and an avid sports fan, especially of football, Bradley commended Jags Aviation and BK Group of Companies for helping athletes and youths in the Hinterland regions and providing opportunities for them to improve their talent. The energetic and cheerful Tiwarie spoke about the importance of training and mentoring talented youth athletes from the interior to compete regionally, nationally and perhaps internationally. He applauded Jags Aviation and BK Group of Companies for supporting youths, not only in the hinterland but across the country which is an important contribution to the national development of Guyana. Bradley told the audience that companies have a social responsibility to follow in the footsteps of Jags Aviation and invest in Guyana’s most precious gift, youths who are the future of the country. He highlighted the countless initiatives by Jags Aviation to support BK Raiders as part of ongoing efforts to expand sporting opportunities and strengthen the development of young athletes in the hinterland and elsewhere in the country.
In conclusion, Bradley was overwhelmed with gratitude he received from the audience as he thanked his parents for the time sacrifices, resources, and their unwavering love and dedication to make him become the athlete and young man he is now. He applauded his much-admired grandparents for their patience, understanding and unyielding support and ultimate role model, and his dignified and wonderful aunt, uncles and relatives for their inspiration and constant encouragement. President Ali praised Bradley for his boldness and said it was the best speech at the ceremony.
