In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at extends its deepest condolences to the families, loved ones, and all those affected by the tragic sinking of the MV Barima. We mourn the precious lives that were lost and share in the grief that has touched communities across Guyana.
At times of such profound sorrow, we are reminded of the Holy Qur’anic words: “Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.” (Holy Qur’an 2:157) We pray that Almighty Allah grants His mercy upon those who have passed away, comforts every grieving heart, strengthens the bereaved with patience and resilience, and grants a swift recovery to those who were injured or affected by this tragedy.
May this heartbreaking event inspire unity, compassion, and mutual support as we stand together as one nation during this difficult time. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at remains steadfast in prayer for all those impacted and calls upon everyone to extend kindness and assistance to the affected families in whatever way possible.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Guyana. May Allah, the Exalted, envelop our nation in His mercy, grant peace to the departed, and bestow comfort and strength upon all who mourn.
