It is presumed without much doubt, that President Ali, in his remarks at the Amerindian Heritage Month cultural extravaganza at the Amerindian village, Sophia, was referring to Mr. Azruddin Mohammed when he said, “Do not allow your grievances and aspirations to become somebody else’s escape route for their own legal troubles. Do not allow your concerns to be used as a ticket to avoid jail”.
President Ali should publicly explain how it is possible that Mr. Mohamed’s actions among the MV Barima tragedy victims will contribute to a ticket to avoid jail.
Are the Laws in Guyana not good enough to see that justice is done? Or is this a case of conflation going too far?
