Dear Editor,
After over 50 years of attachment to a Christian Church, I have had the opportunity to read and study the Holy Koran divided into three volumes. I have also shown interest in a publication with 40 sayings of the Prophet on whom be peace.
My understanding of Islam has been improved and I regret the misconceptions I have had of Islam.
I realised that in the hands of men there exist those that will dishonour religions but there are those that will honour religions.
I consider my current faith as a believer in Christ, my knowledge of the Hindu scriptures, my current uplifting experiences with the Koran and Hadith,
and my focus on The Dhammapada, Buddhist writings, all valuable for my personal upliftment.
While I stand on my religious persuasion, I cannot say that I have not been blessed as a seeker after truth by other religious persuasions
I am sharing my thoughts here to advise ourselves that we choose that which is good with understanding, not quick to condemn.
